Our Story

The Code Court Inc. is a nonprofit organization blending the worlds of basketball and computer science to create a completely new kind of youth development experience. We’re building interactive programs where movement meets logic, and every drill delivers more than just a skill — it delivers insight.

Founded by a former professional basketball athlete and career-transitioning tech professional, The Code Court Inc. was born from the desire to bridge access to both sports and technology. Some kids come in with a love of basketball, some with a curiosity for coding — and many have never had a chance to explore either. Our programs change that.

Each session integrates fun, structured coding exercises and dynamic on-court training. These activities work together to emphasize problem-solving, spark creativity, and build teamwork.

Whether it’s a one-day clinic or a seasonal camp, The Code Court Inc. exists to help young minds and bodies grow — confidently, intelligently, and together.

Meet The Founder

  • Founder, The Code Court Inc.

It all began with a crossover — on the court and in life.
After years of playing professional basketball, I found myself in a new arena: technology. As I transitioned into the IT field, I saw firsthand how coding and problem-solving require the same grit, focus, and teamwork as sports. But I also noticed the gaps — the lack of exposure for kids who might not see themselves as athletes, and the athletes who didn’t realize their skills could translate into tech.

That’s where The Code Court Inc. was born.

I created this nonprofit to merge two powerful forces — athletic development and computer science — into one transformative experience. Whether a child loves sports, is curious about tech, or hasn’t yet found their lane, they belong here. Our programs use basketball drills to teach real coding logic and use coding challenges to sharpen decision-making, creativity, and resilience on and off the court.

    This isn’t just a camp. It’s a movement.

“Basketball taught me how to lead. Tech taught me how to build.”
